Aim and Benefits of La Trobe University Undergraduate Scholarship

• $10,000

Requirements for La Trobe University Undergraduate Scholarship Qualification

• Be an Australian or New Zealand citizen, or holder of an Australian permanent resident visa or permanent humanitarian visa; and
• Have studied Australian Year 12 or IB in 2025, and
• Be intending to enrol in an undergraduate bachelor degree course at a La Trobe campus in Semester 1 2026; and
• Demonstrate high academic achievement; and
• Demonstrate high achievement in their chosen sport; and
• Be actively competing at a national or international level of competition in a sport that is recognised and funded by the Australian Sports Commission; and
• Be endorsed as an elite athlete by the State or National Sporting Organisation or Institute or Professional Players Association or Professional Club; and
• Be supported by referee reports

Interview date, Process and Venue for La Trobe University Undergraduate Scholarship

Recipients of the scholarship shall be selected by the University based on their:

• application form addressing the eligibility criteria
• personal statement
• supporting documentation
• endorsement by the La Trobe Elite Athlete Program
