Greenwich Progression Bursary 2027

The Greenwich Progression Bursary offers a £3,000 fee waiver to current University of Greenwich final year undergraduate students and Alumni to help you Power Up your future and reach your potential through postgraduate study. We are committed to our students’ success and progression to postgraduate study and are investing significant financial resources in addressing the cost-of-living crisis for students wishing to continue their studies with a master’s degree.

Requirements for Greenwich progression bursary Undergraduate Scholarship Qualification

You will be offered the Greenwich Progression Bursary provided you satisfy the below criteria:

• You are a current final year University of Greenwich Undergraduate student applying for a postgraduate taught Masters programme.
• Or you are an alumni of the University of Greenwich applying for a postgraduate taught (PGT) course.
• Eligible courses include: Masters of Arts (MA), Master of Laws (LLM), Master of Science (MSc)
• You will be studying at Greenwich, Avery Hill or Medway Campus (except Medway School of Pharmacy). Students applying for Greenwich Online courses are not eligible.
• You are assessed to pay fees at the Home OR Overseas rate.

The bursary is only available to students starting a Postgraduate taught course with available places in September 2027. It will be applied to part-time students on a pro-rata basis. The course should be completed with no gaps in study to retain the full bursary amount.

Please note: The Greenwich Progression Bursary may not be held in conjunction with any other scholarships. If awarded, you will only be entitled to one scholarship, one bursary or an alumni discount, whichever is the highest to be deducted from your tuition fees due.

The following programmes are NOT eligible for the Greenwich Progression Bursary:

• MA / MSc by Research
• MRes
• Postgraduate Diplomas
• Postgraduate Certificates (including PGCEs)
• Integrated Masters degrees
• Postgraduate research degrees (MPhil / PhDs)
• Distance or online learning programmes
• Short courses and courses with less than 120 credits

Application Deadline

How to Apply

• The bursary is assessed and awarded by the Student Recruitment team.
• To be eligible for the Greenwich Progression Bursary, you must have applied for and accepted your offer to study a Postgraduate taught programme before 23:59 (UK time) on Sunday 30 May 2027.
• The bursary is limited and will be allocated on a first come first serve basis.
