Requirements for Autism Inclusion Equity Scholarship Blacktown Campus Undergraduate Scholarship Qualification

This scholarship is open to applicants who meet all the following criteria: 

• Commencing a new ACU course in Semester 1, 2027
• Course: any ACU undergraduate degree
• Campus: Blacktown
• Diagnosed autism 

Interview date, Process and Venue for Autism Inclusion Equity Scholarship Blacktown Campus Undergraduate Scholarship

Applicants will be shortlisted by the Scholarships Office, and the recipient selected by a panel consisting of the Pro Vice-Chancellor/Deputy Vice-Chancellor, Catholic Mission (Fr Gerald Gleeson); the National Manager, Access and Disability Services (Trevor Ianna), Student Experience Directorate; and an Autism community representative.

Documents Required for Application

Applicants are required to provide the following as part of the application: 

• A written statement* of approximately 300 words outlining:
  • How having autism has impacted you and your studies.
  • How the scholarship would assist you in your course.
• A letter from a health professional confirming the autism spectrum diagnosis.

*Statements are assessed on content, not language skills. If you access assistance from advisors, tutors or AI technology to complete your personal statement, please ensure that your submission accurately reflects your personal situation with regards to the criteria.
