The scholarship includes fully funded PhD projects that covers tuition fees, and a stipend per year for four years.

Aim and Benefits of Rolls Royce PhD Scholarship PhD Scholarship
- The Rolls Royce Scholarship covers the tuition fees and provides a tax-free stipend of approximately £25,518 per year for the duration of the project (up to four years).
- The scholarship offers an excellent opportunity to build strong knowledge in both manufacturing and material science while building strong relationships with both academic and industrial areas at an international level.
- Scholars also get direct access to globally recognized experts at Rolls-Royce.
Requirements for Rolls Royce PhD Scholarship PhD Scholarship Qualification
To be considered for the Rolls Royce Scholarship, you must:
- Have at least a first or upper-second class degree in mechanical, electronic, electrical or computer engineering, manufacturing, materials science, computer science, or physics.
- Graduates finishing their studies in July 2027 are also eligible.
The scholarship is for;
- Passionate, inquisitive and enthusiastic applicants from a wide range of backgrounds, experiences and skills that want to make a difference and further develop their professional, research and personal skills.
- Applicants with a strong interest in research covering engineering, science, technology, net zero, environmental, sustainability, social, economic and commercial aspects along with their interactions.
- Graduates, early career researchers and technologists as well as professionals with degrees or relevant work experience including engineering, materials, manufacturing, transport, science, maths, computing, social sciences or environmental topics.
