Beautiful Ones are Born (BOAB) 2021 Competition for Secondary School Students

The Beautiful Ones are Born (BOAB) competition is an annual competition organized by Platform Capital in partnership with Diatom Impact designed to support Nigerian schools with enabling infrastructure, inspire and challenge secondary school students as African kings and queens.

The Beautiful Ones are Born (BOAB) Competition is an annual event launching in May and closing in September. Shortlisted schools are invited to the Grand Finale event in October which will take place over 3 days.

The competition is a once in a lifetime experience for schools represented by their students to compete in STEM (Physics, Chemistry, Biology & Mathematics), Debate and a Spelling Bee competition. Students will develop critical problem-solving skills, learn to think more creatively and get a chance to test their knowledge in new, real-world situations.

Aim and Benefits of BOAB Competition

1. The Scholarship will run between May 2021 and September 2021 with the Grand Finale taking place on October 2021.

Winners of this competition will receive:

1. 1st Place: ?10,000,000
2. 2nd Place: ?5,000,000
3. 3rd Place: ?2,500,000
4. Winners will also receive education scholarship to study in the University.

Requirements for BOAB Competition Qualification

This Scholarship opportunity is available for:

1. All Secondary School Students in Nigeria
2. All secondary schools in Nigeria that are run and supported by public / government funds.
3. All secondary schools in Nigeria that are not financially supported by the government (Private Schools)
