Aim and Benefits of Warwick Postgraduate Research Scholarships Postgraduate Scholarship

All Warwick Postgraduate Research scholarships include:

• Full payment of your academic fees (UK or international).
• A tax-free maintenance stipend to support living costs
• Full or part-time study options, subject to visa requirements.
  • Part-time funding is at 60% with a proportionally longer funding period.
• Up to 8 weeks annual leave per year.
• The option to suspend your studies temporarily if needed (e.g. for health or personal reasons)
• Additional support for disabled Postgraduate Researchers
• Access to personal and professional development opportunities

Requirements for Warwick Postgraduate Research Scholarships Postgraduate Scholarship Qualification

To be considered for any Warwick Postgraduate Research scholarship, applicants must:

• Apply for an eligible Postgraduate Research Course in at the University of Warwick to begin in October 2027. Eligible courses include: PhD, MPhil/PhD, EngD and the PhD stage of a Masters+PhD course, e.g. 1+3 or 2+4.
• Be starting in academic year 2027/28
  • scholarships cannot be deferred to a future academic year

Application Deadline

How to Apply

1. Read the PGR Scholarship Competency-Based Assessment Criteria and Applicant Guidance Notes.
2. Submit your course application by the course application deadline.
3. Receive an automated e-mail with a 7 digit applicant ID number. Please allow at least 48 hours for this to arrive.
4. Register your ITS applicant account. Doctoral College cannot issue ID numbers.
5. Submit your scholarship application and any required supporting documents by the scholarship application deadline. All word limits are as counted by the scholarships portal and may not be the same as other word processing software.
6. Results of the Scholarships will be communicated by email by 5 March 2027.
