The Country Land and Business Association (CLA) Charitable Trust is offering up to two scholarships to support students wishing to apply to study Agriculture courses at Aberystwyth University for entry in September 2025. The CLA Charitable Trust is particularly eager to support individuals who can demonstrate a notable interest in Agricultural Policy and other issues that will shape the future of agricultural industry across Wales and the UK. Applications are sought from individuals who are eager to bring new ideas and vision to the industry.

The awards are worth £3,000 each to be paid in instalments in the first two years of study.
UK domiciled applicants for FdSc, BSc and MAg (Integrated Masters) in ‘Agriculture’ and related courses (including ‘Agriculture with Animal Science’ and ‘Agriculture with Business Management’).
Applicants will need to submit a short video (<3 minutes) introducing themselves and saying why they should be awarded the scholarship. Candidates will be shortlisted on the basis of the submitted videos and the winner(s) of the scholarship(s) will be determined via a short interview with representatives from the CLA Charitable Trust and Aberystwyth University.
