With the Postdoc Plus scholarship program, we support outstanding young researchers who wish to establish themselves with a research project at Hamburg's universities immediately after completing their doctorate. The one-year financial and non-material support provides the recipients with an orientation phase to explore a new research area or topic, acquire third-party funding, and prepare for a subsequent qualification phase (junior professorship, habilitation).
Through its rapid selection process, Postdoc Plus offers flexible start-up funding to support postdoctoral researchers in their academic professionalization.
The Postdoc Plus Program is open to applicants from all Hamburg universities and colleges. Applications can be submitted at any time.
