CQUniversity International Merit Scholarship 2026

The International Merit Scholarship is available to all new international students who plan to enrol in undergraduate, postgraduate coursework, research, or packaged academic courses at any campus or online. 

Valued at up to 25% of your course fees, this scholarship recognises strong academic performance and supports students committed to achieving excellence in their studies. If you choose to study at a regional campus such as Rockhampton or Cairns, the scholarship will cover 25% of your course fees.

Requirements for CQUniversity Undergraduate Scholarship Qualification

• To receive the International Merit Scholarship, you must be a new international student applying for an undergraduate, postgraduate coursework, research or packaged academic course at CQU.
• You may study on-campus or online.

Interview date, Process and Venue for CQUniversity Undergraduate Scholarship

• All students who meet the eligibility criteria will automatically be considered for the scholarship.
• The scholarship value is between 15% to 25% of the total course fee depending on your previous academic performance or English Language Proficiency.

Documents Required for Application

• You must provide certified copies of your completion certificates and academic transcripts.
• If your documents are not in English, you must also include certified English translations. This helps us accurately assess your application.

How to Apply

• No separate application is required.
• You can check your application status and outcome in the iStart portal. If you applied through an education agent, they will keep you updated. You’ll be notified via email once your application has been assessed.
