FEZZAN-AKK/NNPC 2021 Skill Acquisition Programme For Young Nigerians

The Ajaokuta-Kaduna-Kano (AKK) pipeline is a 614km-long natural gas pipeline being developed by the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC).

This programme is expected to train over 500 eligible applicants over a period of 2 years.

The AKK Skill Acquisition Programme is to be done in partnership with the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC) through the AKK Gas Pipeline Project Office. We are assisted technically by, Inspection and Tests limited and Gabson Professional Safety School. The Nigerian Institute of welding and Institute of Safety professionals of Nigeria are the awarding bodies.

About FEZZAN

AKK Skill Acquisition Programme is a 2 year CSR project available to Youths and Students of the Tertiary Institutions. The programme aims to expand the availability of local skills in Technical and Management related areas of the Oil & Gas Industry. Aim and Benefits of FEZZAN-AKK/NNPC Skill Acquisition Programme

AKK Skill Acquisition Programme is a 2 year CSR project available to Youths and Students of the Tertiary Institutions. The programme aims to expand the availability of local skills in Technical and Management related areas of the Oil & Gas Industry.

Requirements for FEZZAN-AKK/NNPC Skill Acquisition Programme Qualification

Applicants that meet the following criteria may wish to apply;

1. Applicants must be between the ages of 18-35 years 
2. Applicants must be indigenous youth of communities or tertiary institutions along the route of the pipeline and environs
3. Applicants are required to present a satisfactory fitness report from a recognised government medical institution 
4. Applicants must have an active Bank account
5. Applicants must have access to an active valid email address and a mobile phone 
6. Qualification
   1. Minimum of Secondary School Leaving Certificates (Welding & Scaffolding )
   2. Minimum of National Diploma Certificate in Engineering or physical Sciences 
   3. A minimum of HND in Engineering or physical Sciences

Training Phase

The AKK Skill Acquisition Programme will happen in two phases. Each stage will have multiple batches for a proper training process.

Phase one: This is will cover technical artisan skills in the following fields;

1. Welding

2. Scaffolding

3. Pipe Fitting

4. Non Destructive Examination.

4. Certificate of Medical Fitness

5. Evidence of Admission if your are currently a student
