Fisheries New Zealand Scholarships 2026 for Masters and Undergraduate Students

Scholarships are available to both Masters and undergraduate students in the fields of fisheries science and marine biology.

Fisheries New Zealand has supported scholarships since 2006. The aim is to support undergraduate and postgraduate students of mathematics, statistics, computing, marine biology, and quantitative fisheries science.

They want to develop these areas of research, as there is a shortage of trained quantitative graduates in New Zealand to do research and contribute to the sustainable use of fisheries.
