The Dean Jaensch Scholarship was established in 2010 to encourage students to study an Honours program in Politics and Public Policy.

About Flinders University

Flinders University is a public university in Adelaide, South Australia. Founded in 1966, it was named in honour of navigator Matthew Flinders, who explored and surveyed the South Australian coastline in the early 19th century. Aim and Benefits of Dean Jaensch Scholarship

Subject to availability of funds, one new scholarship will be available each year to the value of $1000.

Requirements for Dean Jaensch Scholarship Qualification

Applicants for the scholarship must

• have studied their undergraduate degree at Flinders University and;
• be commencing an Honours Program within Politics and Public Policy ; and
• normally remain enrolled full-time.

Interview date, Process and Venue for Dean Jaensch Scholarship

Selection will be made by representatives of the College of Government, Business and Law. The scholarship will be awarded on the basis of academic merit., If applicants have equal academic merit, the student with the highest GPA in a Politics Major will be awarded the scholarship.
