Aim and Benefits of Flinders Archaeology and History Society Indigenous Scholarship

Each scholarship will have a value of $3000 paid in equal instalments of $1,500 after the census date of each semester. The number of scholarships will depend on the funding available.


Requirements for Flinders Archaeology and History Society Indigenous Scholarship Qualification

Applicants must:

  • be of Australian Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander descent; and
  • identify as an Australian Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander; and
  • be accepted as an Australian Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander by the community in which they live or have lived; and
  • be enrolled full-time within the College of Humanities, Arts and Social Sciences at Flinders University; and
  • be undertaking a coursework degree in archaeology or history.

Interview date, Process and Venue for Flinders Archaeology and History Society Indigenous Scholarship

The Scholarship will be awarded based on academic merit. Preference will be given to commencing students.

Scholarship selection will be made in accordance with approved University procedures.
