Flinders University 2022 SALHN PhD Funding Opportunity

The Indigenous Education Placement Scholarship has been established to recognise the deep appreciation of the knowledge, capacity and potential leadership that indigenous people can bring to country. The scholarship aims to assist Indigenous preservice teachers on remote placements.

This scholarship aims to reduce the financial burden of placements and enable students to develop their skills while contributing to a regional or remote community.

Aim and Benefits of SALHN PhD Funding Opportunity

The stipend opportunity is:

• a stipend valued at $42 967* pa (2023 rate) tax free
• The scholarship will be awarded for 1 year in the first instance

Requirements for SALHN PhD Funding Opportunity Qualification

Applicant must have admission or be able to obtain admission to a Doctor of Philosophy and have a research proposal in the area of medical research.

Interview date, Process and Venue for SALHN PhD Funding Opportunity

Applications will be assessed by a small group of experienced researchers on behalf of the CSPF.

Successful applicants will be notified early December 2022.

Applicants should submit their application electronically to Dr Evan Everest Chair of the CSPF [email protected] and should include a detailed outline of the proposed research, (no more than 7-8 pages), CV and a letter of support from their research supervisor
