The College of Nursing and Health Sciences has established Honours Scholarships to provide financial assistance to undergraduate students undertaking an Honours research project in the College of Nursing and Health Sciences, Flinders University. The purpose of the scholarships is to build Honours engagement and research across all disciplines in the College.
Flinders University is a public university in Adelaide, South Australia. Founded in 1966, it was named in honour of navigator Matthew Flinders, who explored and surveyed the South Australian coastline in the early 19th century. Subject to the availability of funds, there will be six annual scholarships up to the value of $1,250 each. Usually, no more than two scholarships will be available per Honours program within the College.

The scholarships will be awarded based on academic merit. Results achieved for the most recent 36 units of study at third year level will take precedence, over other factors. If necessary, grades for individual topics may be used to rank students with identical GPAs. Selection will be made by a Selection Committee comprising the Honours Coordinators of the College of Nursing and Health Sciences and the Dean (Education) or delegate.
