Applications are now open for the Flinders University The Austin Taylor Indigenous NT Medical Program Scholarship 2025. Mr Austin Taylor, BEc Adel, Chartered Accountant (Fellow), Chair of FCD Health Limited and Council Member of Flinders University has a special interest in furthering the education and training of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people as health professionals, particularly in the Northern Territory.
The Austin Taylor Indigenous NT Medical Program Scholarship has been established to support the retention and successful graduation of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander students as health professionals.
The scholarship is funded through Mr Austin Taylor’s contribution to the Karmel Endowment Fund.

Subject to the availability of funds, a minimum of one scholarship with a minimum value of $750 may be awarded each year.

Selection Criteria
The scholarship will be awarded on the basis of academic merit and financial need.
Selection of the candidate(s) will be made by the Student Affairs Committee of the School of Medicine in accordance with procedures approved by the Director, Academic and Student Services.
