Heriot-Watt University International Merit Scholarship 2027

This scholarship is for Undergraduate and Postgraduate taught students.

Heriot-Watt University welcomes students from all over the world. This year, Heriot-Watt University is providing support by awarding over £500,000 in merit scholarships to international fee-paying students enrolling in January & September 2027.

In most instances, scholarships awarded to international fee-paying students will be paid as a partial fee abatement for the first year of study only, unless stated otherwise on your offer letter.

• Eligibility criteria will vary by region, as stated above please contact the relevant regional manager for more details. Please note that online and Postgraduate research programmes are not included in these scholarships.
• Please be aware the scholarships are only available to Overseas fee status students that are residing overseas. Students currently residing in the UK but classed as an overseas fee status are not eligible under this scholarship category.”

Please be aware you can only receive one Heriot-Watt funded scholarship towards your programme of study. So, for example, you cannot receive both this scholarship and the alumni discount.
