Hiroshima Peacebuilders Center (HPC) 2023 Global Peacebuilders Program for Non-Japanese Professionals

The Primary Course is designed for people who have the strong will to build their careers in the field of peacebuilding and development to acquire the required practical knowledge and skills through participation in a 5-week Coursework in Japan.

This course expects to host around 12 participants from Japan and 10 participants from other countries.

Those from the following countries/ organizations are eligible to apply for this fiscal year’s program: The Republic of Mali, the Democratic Republic of the Congo, the Republic of South Sudan, the Republic of Kenya, Republic of Lebanon, the Republic of Haiti, Ukraine, the Solomon Islands, the Philippines, and the African Union Commission (AUC). Please note that for AUC, the application process is not open to the public and depends on arrangements with AUC.

The Hiroshima Peacebuilders Center (HPC) is a legally independent non-profit body created to conduct human resource development and research activities in the field of peacebuilding. HPC is commissioned by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Japan to implement the Program for Global Human Resource Development for Peacebuilding and Development.

Requirements for Global Peacebuilders Program Qualification
