Requirements for Bioengineering UG Department Bursary Undergraduate Scholarship Qualification

To be eligible for this bursary, you must:

• Have Home fee status,

  and meet at least one of the following criteria:

• You have experience of being in care or are a care leaver, as supported by a local authority.

• Your permanent home address* is in an area classified as:

  • Quintile 1 of the Index of Multiple Deprivation (IMD) in England, or

  • Quintile 1 or 2 of the POLAR4 classification (which looks at participation in higher education).

• You are the first person in your immediate family to attend university.

• You currently attend a UK state-funded comprehensive school.

* Your home address refers to your usual place of residence, not a school or boarding address.
