In 2024, 7 % of the scholarship applicants admitted to a programme were nominated for the KTH Scholarship (47 out of 696). The KTH Scholarship covers the tuition fee at KTH for the first and the second year, provided that the study results during the first year are satisfactory. The scholarship does not include living costs.
To be eligible for the scholarship you must be a fee-paying student and have applied for a master’s programme at KTH as your first priority and paid the application fee.
KTH Scholarships are available for applicants to all master's programmes with two years spent at KTH, the joint master's programmes in Molecular Techniques in Life Science, and Biostatistics and Data Science, and the one-year master's programme in Architectural Lighting Design.
Before starting your scholarship application you need to apply for one or more master's programme at KTH through universityadmissions.se. To apply for the KTH Scholarship. you complete the application form available on this page when the application is open. You do not need to submit any additional documents when you apply for the scholarship since we can access your application documents at universityadmissions.se during the evaluation process.
