The Leventis Foundation Nigeria is a charitable organisation dedicated to empowering youths and farmers through training in modern, sustainable agricultural practices and the responsible use of natural resources.

The schools provide comprehensive one-year training programs designed for young men and women passionate about building rewarding careers in farming and agribusiness. Participants gain hands-on experience across diverse areas of agriculture, agricultural value chains, and farm enterprises.

Leventis Foundation Training

Aim and Benefits of Leventis Foundation Training

• Comprehensive Agricultural Training: A one-year immersive program covering various agricultural fields and agribusiness.
• Free of Cost: Tuition, boarding, and feeding are provided entirely free of charge for successful candidates.
• Empowering Future Farmers: The objective is to nurture generations of skilled, practical farmers who will catalyse agricultural transformation in their communities and contribute to advancing the food system.

Requirements for Leventis Foundation Training Qualification

The program is open to both male and female candidates who are eager to develop sustainable careers in agriculture and agribusiness.

Applicants should fulfil the following conditions, among others:

• Be physically fit.
• Ability to read and write in English (evidence of a minimum of junior secondary school may be required).
• Aged between 18 and 40 years old.
• Pass both the written and oral tests before final selection.
• Should demonstrate a perceivable interest in agriculture.
• Proof of a farming background is an advantage.

Interview date, Process and Venue for Leventis Foundation Training

• Application Deadline: Saturday, 21 February, 2026
• Screening/Examination comes up on Saturday, 28 February, 2026

Documents Required for Application

Please bring the following documents on the day of the examination:

1. A handwritten cover letter.
2. A letter of attestation, signed by either the Chairman or Secretary of your Local Government of Origin or a Justice of the Peace (JP).
3. Attach the following documents:
   • Two (2) recent passport-sized photographs.
   • Three (3) reference letters.
   • Photocopies of your academic qualifications or any other relevant documents.

Note: Applicants can also submit a physical application if they are located near the school locations.
