Newcastle University 2025 Vice-Chancellor’s EU Scholarships for Postgraduate Studenta

Newcastle University is pleased to offer a large number of partial EU Scholarships to assist students domiciled in the EU to study a postgraduate Masters/MRes degree.

In response to the challenges posed by the global economic situation, we are committed to ensuring that talented students, regardless of their financial circumstances, can access the world-class education and opportunities we offer. That’s why we’ve increased our Vice Chancellor EU scholarship offering to cover 25% of the international fee.  

Our scholarships are more than just financial support—they’re a gateway to academic and personal growth. With this support, students can focus on excelling in their studies and grow into the leader they aspire to be. We believe in empowering our students to create a better future, and our expanded scholarships reflect that belief.

Newcastle University (Officially, the University of Newcastle upon Tyne) is a public research university located in Newcastle upon Tyne in the North-East of England. Requirements for Vice-Chancellor’s EU Scholarships Qualification

To be considered for awards applicants must:

  • Be domiciled in an EU member state (student domiciled in EEA member states that are not part of the EU, are not eligible).
  • Have been offered a place to study on an eligible Master’s degree programme at the University’s Newcastle city centre campus for the 2025/26 academic year.
  • Have been assessed as international for tuition fee purposes.

Applicants will be considered automatically for awards based on their degree programme application to study at Newcastle University. Some programme exclusions apply.
