Newcastle University (Officially, the University of Newcastle upon Tyne) is a public research university located in Newcastle upon Tyne in the North-East of England. The university can trace its origins to a School of Medicine and Surgery (later the College of Medicine), established in 1834, and to the College of Physical Science (later renamed Armstrong College), founded in 1871. Requirements for Newcastle University Vice-Chancellor’s Global Scholarships Qualification

To be considered for Vice-Chancellor's Global Scholarships applicants must:

  • be assessed as international for fee purposes
  • hold an offer for an eligible undergraduate degree programme at the University's Newcastle city-centre campus for the 2024/25 academic year
  • already have or expect to receive a minimum of ABB at A Level or equivalent

Applicants from the following countries are not eligible to apply for these awards. The University offers specific schemes for these countries:

  • India
  • Kenya
  • Malaysia
  • South Africa
  • Tanzania
  • Thailand
  • Turkey
  • Ukraine
  • USA
  • Vietnam
  • any member of the European Union

Applicants domiciled in all other countries are eligible.

Interview date, Process and Venue for Newcastle University Vice-Chancellor’s Global Scholarships
