Internships abroad are prerequisite for a career in the global job market, but you don't always have to travel halfway around the world. An internship in a European country also offers exciting insights into other working cultures, international contacts and better language skills. ERASMUS+ Grants for Internships in Europe

Aim and Benefits of ERASMUS+ Grants for Internships in Europe

The ERASMUS+ programme offers students the following benefits:

• monthly allowance for living costs
• special benefits if required, e.g. taking child(ren) along, special needs due to disability or chronic illness
• Travel allowance and additional travel days, if required
• EU traineeship agreement between university, company and student (Learning Agreement for Traineeships)
• support with language preparation
• support during the internship through a contact person at the home university and in the company

They also support you with the following services:

• Advice on internship preparation and implementation
• Advice on finding an internship
• Information on legal and bureaucratic issues in our ISIS course (in German only)
• Support with problems during the internship
• Issue of a mobility certificate

Requirements for ERASMUS+ Grants for Internships in Europe Qualification

The following criteria must be met in order for us to accept your application for the ERASMUS+ grant:

• You must be enrolled for the entire duration of the internship. For budgetary reasons, we cannot fund internships for graduates.
• Your internship must take place in one of the 34 ERASMUS+ programme countries.
• The duration of the internship must be at least 2 months.
• The internship must be equivalent to a full-time job.
• Your personal ERASMUS+ quota of 360 days per study cycle is not yet exhausted.
