TU Berlin 2025 Scholarships for Research or Study Visits

ENHANCE offers master’s and doctoral students at its partner universities the opportunity to spend a study or research period at another partner institution. This means TU Berlin master’s and doctoral students can apply to receive funding for a study or research stay within our ENHANCE network and vice versa.

Scholarships for Research or Study Visits

Aim and Benefits of Scholarships for Research or Study Visits

Study or research stays undertaken within a master’s program or doctorate are supported with a scholarship for 1 to 3 months.

Master’s students receive a grant of 934 EUR per month, doctoral students 1200 EUR per month.

In addition, a travel allowance of 250 EUR is paid for the outward and return journey.

Requirements for Scholarships for Research or Study Visits Qualification

• For master’s students: enrollment in a master's program at TU Berlin or an ENHANCE partner university
• For doctoral students: enrollment as a doctoral student at TU Berlin or employment as a doctoral student at TU Berlin or an ENHANCE partner university
• Confirmation of supervision at the partner university and TU Berlin
• Simultaneous funding by other scholarships or grants is not possible.
• The study visit must take place in 2023.
