Unil Master's Scholarship 2027

The online application for the academic year 2027/2028 will open in September 2026 and the deadline will be 1 November 2026.

University of Lausanne (Unil) awards around ten excellence scholarships each year, exclusively to students who have graduated from a foreign university and whose academic results are of a very high standard.

Aim and Benefits of Unil Master's Scholarship Master's Scholarship

• The Unil Master's Scholarship is awarded for the minimum statutory period of the Master’s programme and amounts to CHF 1,600 per month.
• As this amount does not cover the full cost of living in Switzerland, the scholarship does not constitute full funding. Applicants are therefore advised to consult the information on the cost of living in Switzerland for a student.

Requirements for Unil Master's Scholarship Master's Scholarship Qualification

• Hold a foreign university degree recognized as equivalent to a Swiss university bachelor before starting the Master’s programme at Unil.
• Have achieved outstanding academic results during your studies.
• Have a minimum language level of C1 according to the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR):
  • French for programmes taught in French
  • English for programmes taught in English
• Not be currently enrolled at Unil.
• Have paid the administrative fee of CHF 200
