University of Aberdeen 2023 Aberdeen Alumni Discount For Postgraduate Students, UK

A special ‘loyalty discount’ of 20% off the cost of any element of self funded graduate study is available to University of Aberdeen graduates who wish to undertake further study at the University of Aberdeen. The discount applies to a range of taught graduate programmes (Masters, Diploma, Certificate and Short Course), and the year one of a full time research programme (years one and two for part time research students). It is available to both UK/EU and International students.

Please note, this scholarship is available for students registered for online programmes and on campus programmes delivered at our Aberdeen campus.

Aim and Benefits of University of Aberdeen Alumni Discount

20% discount is available for University of Aberdeen graduates on the full cost of a taught graduate programme and one year of a full-time research programme (two years for part time).

Requirements for University of Aberdeen Alumni Discount Qualification

Applicants must have completed a full degree programme (those who have studied a certificate or Diploma are not eligible) or studied for a period as an International Exchange, Study Abroad or Erasmus student at the University of Aberdeen and be applying for graduate study. The discount applies only to any aspect of fees that may need to be self funded and not covered by additional funding.

Please note that it is not possible to hold the Alumni Discount alongside another tuition fee discount or award provided by the University of Aberdeen. In the situation that you are eligible for an Alumni Discount and have also been awarded another tuition fee discount or award from the University, you will receive whichever award is of greater value.

The following programmes are NOT eligible for the Alumni Discount scheme:

• Diploma in Professional Legal Practice
• Professional Graduate Diploma in Education
• MBA - International Business Management graduate pathway
• Registered Postgraduate Study

All other taught graduate programmes, including Postgraduate Certificate/Diploma, Accelerated LLB, and Short Courses, are eligible.

MBChB Students who are undertaking a Taught Postgraduate Masters programme as part of their Intercalating year are also eligible for the discount.
