Aim and Benefits of University of Auckland Top Achiever Scholarships

• One year of catered accommodation in a Waipapa Taumata Rau, University of Auckland Hall of Residence
• $5,000 paid in two instalments in the first two semesters of study.

• Each Hall offers catering, your own room, a range of activities and events, academic mentoring programmes and pastoral care.
• Free membership to the University Recreation facilities on the City Campus.

Requirements for University of Auckland Top Achiever Scholarships Qualification

You are eligible to apply if you are:

• A New Zealand Citizen or Permanent Resident
• Currently enrolled in your final year at a New Zealand secondary school or kura
• Intending to enrol full-time in a degree at Waipapa Taumata Rau, University of Auckland in 2026 (or taking a gap year in 2026 and planning to enrol in a degree in 2027)*

*M?ori students and Pacific students intending to enrol in a Certificate in Health Sciences, followed by a degree at Waipapa Taumata Rau, University of Auckland can also be considered for this Scholarship.
