University of Hertfordshire UG Tri Annual Scholarship 2026

This scholarship provides £2,000 off tuition fees each year for eligible international undergraduate students joining the University for the first time in September 2026. It is awarded automatically and continues each year of study upon successful progression (not for retakes or re-joins).

Aim and Benefits of University of Hertfordshire Undergraduate Scholarship

• £2,000 per year (up to £6,000 for a 3-year course or £8,000 for a 4-year course)
• not available during placement or study-abroad years.

Requirements for University of Hertfordshire Undergraduate Scholarship Qualification

Not available for:

• BSc Diagnostic Radiography and Imaging
• BSc Therapeutic Radiography
• BSc Nursing (all routes)
• BSc Midwifery
• BSc Paramedic Science
• BSc Physiotherapy
• BSc Social Work
• MPharm
• BA (Hons) 2D Digital Animation
• BA (Hons) 3D Animation and Visual Effects
• BA (Hons) 3D Games Art and Design
• BA (Hons) Comics and Concept Art
• pre-sessional English, HIC, or online courses
• postgraduate applicants
• University of Hertfordshire or HIC graduates

Additional conditions:

• only valid for September 2026 entry (non-transferable unless agreed)
• students joining in Year 2 or 3 still receive £2,000 per year
• unless exceptionally approved by the University, cannot be combined with:
  • Super Early Bird Scholarship
  • 20% Herts Graduate Scholarship
  • MBBS Scholarship
  • Chancellor’s International Scholarship
• can be combined with the Full Payment Discount if full fees are paid by 12 October 2026
• scholarship is applied after registration (not deducted from the deposit)
• if tuition fees are already paid in full, the scholarship may be used towards university accommodation (excluding the refundable £150 accommodation deposit)
• applicants must: have been offered and accepted a place on a full-time award-bearing University of Hertfordshire programme and be paying the full cost of the tuition fee from their own resources directly to the University of Hertfordshire, and not discounted or sponsored for any part of the fee by the University of Hertfordshire or an organisation such as an employer, charitable body or government department. (Any contribution by an external organisation to the student's living costs, or a contribution from the student's family to the fee or living costs, does not count as sponsorship under this scheme.)
• candidates will be required to meet all conditions of registration before the scholarship is awarded
• for students that withdraw (both student and university initiated); all full payment discounts will be removed. All other scholarships and discounts will be adjusted on a pro rata basis in line with the fee liability dates.
