Requirements for University of Leicester Bachelors Qualification

• Candidates must have applied for one of the undergraduate law programs before applying for the scholarship.
• Applicants for Leicester Canadian Excellence Scholarship must be Canadian nationals/residents and be classified as international/overseas students by the University.
• Candidates must not be applying for any other scholarships but if they have already applied and are in receiving funding, the scholarship of greater value will be considered.
• Leicester Canadian Excellence Scholarship is granted in the form of reduction of tuition fee and if students are eligible for fee discounts, the discount is calculated on the amount obtained after the scholarship reduction.
• Full-time students starting their course in September are eligible.
• Scholarships cannot be deferred.
• Candidates applying for Leicester Canadian Excellence Scholarship must be able to pay the rest of the tuition fee and living expenses.
• Academic merit, contribution to the community and/or financial need of the students are considered for selections.
• Students must submit copies of their transcripts in English.
