Jean Alcorn Scholarship Postgraduate Scholarship
Aim and Benefits of Jean Alcorn Scholarship Postgraduate Scholarship
- This scholarship provides a living allowance of $10,000 per year for three years, paid in half-yearly instalments of $5000 in April and September.
- The first instalment will be split into a $1500 establishment allowance, paid shortly after enrolment, and $3500 paid in April.

Requirements for Jean Alcorn Scholarship Postgraduate Scholarship Qualification
To be considered for this scholarship, you must:
- Be an Australian or New Zealand citizen or Australian permanent resident
- Have applied and met entry requirements for the Juris Doctor under the Graduate Access Melbourne (GAM) Disadvantaged socio-economic circumstances category (and other categories if applicable to your circumstances).
Interview date, Process and Venue for Jean Alcorn Scholarship Postgraduate Scholarship
- The scholarship is offered to the eligible candidate(s) ranked highest by the selection panel based on their Graduate Access Melbourne (GAM) application.
- In the interest of equitable distribution of scholarships, other scholarships or prizes received from the University by candidates are considered.
Conditions
- This scholarship cannot be deferred to the following academic year. In addition, students must agree to the University sharing their name and course details with the donor of their scholarship and provide a brief report on the benefits of the scholarship if requested.
