University of Ottawa Admission Scholarship 2026/27

The University of Ottawa Admission Scholarship automatically provides between $1,000 and $3,000 to all eligible full-time students with an average of 85% to 100% who are studying in a direct-entry faculty or in the Faculty of Law, Civil Law Section. No application is required for this scholarship; all eligible students are automatically considered for this award. Mature applicants and university transfers are not eligible for this scholarship.

Aim and Benefits of University of Ottawa Undergraduate Scholarship

Admission average of:

• 95-100% = $3,000
• 90-94.9% = $2,000
• 85-89.9% = $1,00

Requirements for University of Ottawa Undergraduate Scholarship Qualification

• Meet the admission requirements of the program you have been admitted to;
• Be enrolled full time for the first time in a university undergraduate program;
• Be a Canadian citizen or permanent resident, or have protected person or refugee status (unless otherwise indicated)

Required averages to keep or renew a scholarship are rounded to two decimal places. For example, a student with an average of 8.49 would not be eligible for a scholarship that requires an 8.50 average. See academic regulation A-3.3 for more information on calculating averages.

Note: Mature applicants and university transfers are not eligible for certain admission scholarships. Please review eligibility criteria carefully.
