Applications are now open for the University of Queensland 2025 Barbara Hebden Music Bursary. This scholarship was established in 2016 by an endowed bequest from the estate of UQ alumna and music critic, Barbara Jean Hebden OAM (BA 1952).

You're eligible if you:

• Will be enrolled full-time in the first year of the Bachelor of Music.

Selection criteria

We'll consider:

• tThe applicant showing the greatest merit in the audition. 

Preference will be given to:

• Applicants who audition on a relevant instrument (to be announced soon).
