The Vietnam Global Leaders Scholarship is an exciting opportunity for high achieving students from Vietnam to further their studies in UQ’s Faculty of Business, Economics and Law.

• UQ Vietnam Global Leaders Scholarship 2023 covers up to 50% of the tuition fees for the duration of the program.

University of Queensland (UQ) Bachelors Courses

• Economics

Requirements for University of Queensland (UQ) Bachelors Qualification

• Citizens of Vietnam, who normally reside in Vietnam and are not already undertaking any studies in Australia. Those studying English in Australia are still eligible to apply.
• Students must not simultaneously hold another scholarship for tuition fees.
• Students who have received an offer and who are commencing students at UQ.
• The scholarships are awarded on the basis of academic excellence and high achieving students are encouraged to apply.
• Students applying for a dual degree with Economics are also eligible, and the scholarship will then apply to the Economics component of a dual program only.

Applications are closed while this scholarship is being reviewed.  The link to the application form will be provided when the scholarship opens.

• a personal statement about why you wish to study this program at UQ, your career and personal goals, and what you’ve done in the past that shows your commitment to these goals

• a reference letter in English, from a teacher at your institution or from an employer, that ranks your academic performance against your peer group.
