Students from England, Wales, Northern Ireland, Republic of Ireland, the Channel Islands and the Isle of Man can get a scholarship covering fees for their Honours year of study.
The University of Stirling is a UK research intensive campus university founded by Royal charter in 1967. It is a plate glass university located in the Central Belt of Scotland, built within the walled Airthrey Castle estate. Our undergraduate tuition fees for students from England, Wales, Northern Ireland and Republic of Ireland are £9,535 per year. No-one has to pay this up front, and tuition fee loans are available through your relevant national funding body to meet the costs.
This scholarship is exclusively available for students joining in the 2025/26 academic year. Prospective students planning to join in 2026/27 will be able to benefit from our new Stirling Success Scholarship.
Honours Year Scholarships are available to all students from England, Wales, Northern Ireland and Republic of Ireland who have successfully completed Years 1-3 at the University of Stirling.
Students from Jersey, Guernsey and Isle of Man are also eligible for this scholarship.
No application is necessary. All students from England, Wales, Northern Ireland and Republic of Ireland who successfully complete Years 1-3 of study will automatically be allocated an award.
