The Housing Support Fund is provided by the University to address urgent student housing needs. If you are a current student threatened with homelessness owing to financial hardship, wellbeing reasons or other circumstances beyond your control you should apply for help.
The University of Strathclyde is a Scottish public research university located in Glasgow, United Kingdom. Founded in 1796 as the Andersonian Institute, it is Glasgow's second-oldest university. The university receiving its royal charter in 1964 as the UK's first technological university. It takes its name from the historic Kingdom of Strathclyde.

Registered students of the University shall be eligible to apply to the Fund if they meet the following criteria:
The level of award will be judged on a case to case basis. Awards are around £300-£500 and are intended to meet immediate short term housing need. Because of this the fund cannot be used to replace a regular income. Awards will normally be made in the form of a grant.
