Research Training Program (RTP)
Aim and Benefits of Research Training Program (RTP)
- Annual Stipend: $41,753 per annum (2025 rate), indexed annually.
- Relocation Allowance: Up to $1,485 for travel to Sydney at the beginning and return travel after program completion.
- Thesis Allowance: Up to $420 for master’s and $840 for doctoral candidates for eligible production costs.
- Paid Leave: 20 days of recreation leave and 10 days of sick leave annually, with additional paid sick and parental leave available.
Requirements for Research Training Program (RTP) Qualification
You must:
- Be a commencing or enrolled domestic or international higher degree by research student,
- Have an outstanding record of academic achievement and research potential.
