University of Warwick 2025 Chancellors' International Scholarships

The Warwick Chancellor’s International Scholarships recognize exceptional international postgraduate researchers who enhance the university’s dynamic global research community. For the 2025/26 academic year, up to £5 million will be allocated to fund up to 42 scholarships, awarded to the most outstanding international PhD candidates.

Chancellors' International Scholarships

Aim and Benefits of Chancellors' International Scholarships

The awards made for entry in Autumn 2025 will include the following:

• The full payment of tuition fees
• A maintenance stipend paid at the prevailing UKRI rate for 3.5 years
• A Research, Training and Supporting Grant (RTSG) of £5,000.
• For eligible scholars, the opportunity to apply for financial support towards the cost of immigration to the UK.

Requirements for Chancellors' International Scholarships Qualification

t=To be eligible, you must meet the following criteria:

• Apply for a PhD at the University of Warwick to begin in October 2025;
• Be assessed as ‘overseas’ for fee purposes. There are no other nationality criteria;
• Be from any discipline at Warwick.

Scholarships cannot be deferred to the next academic year.
