he University of Western Australia is offering scholarships to high-achieving students across the globe who study with us.

This significant scholarship will be awarded to high-achieving undergraduate and postgraduate students, from selected countries, who apply for particular courses at the University.

About University of Western Australia (UWA)

University of Western Australia International Fee Scholarships (UIFS) are scholarships available to support international students enrolled in higher degrees by research (HDR) at The University of Western Australia ('the University'). The Research Training Program (RTP) is a dedicated pool of funding provided by the Australian Government under the Higher Education Support Act 2003 to support domestic and international students undertaking Research Doctorate and Research Master degrees. Aim and Benefits of UWA Undergraduate Scholarship

Up to AUD$48,000 over four years for undergraduates commencing eligible courses in 2022.

Up to AUD$36,000 over three years for undergraduates commencing eligible courses in 2022.


Requirements for UWA Undergraduate Scholarship Qualification

You will need to:

  • be a citizen of one of the countries in this list.
  • have received an offer for an undergraduate course at The University of Western Australia.
  • have achieved an equivalent:
    • ATAR of 88.00 – 98.00+; or
    • WAM of 70.00 – 85.00+

To be eligible to be considered for the scholarship, a candidate must be applying for an eligible undergraduate bachelor degree or Assured Pathway course. The following exclusions apply:

  • Assured Pathway to Medicine
  • Assured Pathway to Pharmacy
  • Assured Pathway to Dental Medicine

 

The following Combined Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees are considered eligible. The scholarship incorporates both the undergraduate and postgraduate components.

  • Bachelor of Science and Master of Biological Science (CM010)
  • Bachelor of Science and Master of Geoscience (CM009)
  • Bachelor of Science and Master of Environmental Science (CM008)
  • Bachelor of Science and Master of Biotechnology (CM007)
  • Bachelor of Science and Master of Biological Science (CM005)
  • Bachelor of Science and Master of Biomedical Science (CM004)
  • Combined Bachelors-Masters Double Award Package in Economics (CM002)

  • have received an offer for a postgraduate course at The University of Western Australia.
  • have achieved an equivalent:
    • ATAR of 88.00 – 98.00+; or
