About University of Western Australia (UWA)

University of Western Australia International Fee Scholarships (UIFS) are scholarships available to support international students enrolled in higher degrees by research (HDR) at The University of Western Australia ('the University'). The Research Training Program (RTP) is a dedicated pool of funding provided by the Australian Government under the Higher Education Support Act 2003 to support domestic and international students undertaking Research Doctorate and Research Master degrees. Up to AUD$24,000 over two years for postgraduates commencing eligible courses in 2022.

Requirements for UWA Postgraduate Scholarship Qualification

You will need to:

• be a citizen of one of the countries in this list.
• have received an offer for a postgraduate course at The University of Western Australia.
• have achieved an equivalent:
  • ATAR of 88.00 – 98.00+; or
  • WAM of 70.00 – 85.00+

To be eligible to be considered for the scholarship, a candidate must be applying for an eligible postgraduate degree (by coursework). The following exclusions apply:
