University of Westminster 2022 Aziz Foundation Postgraduate Scholarship

The Scholarships Programme offers 100% tuition fee Masters scholarships to support British Muslims to study at UK universities. The scholarships are aimed at those who wish to advance in their careers and bring positive change to their communities and beyond. We invite applications from people who are dedicated to:

  • Effective Advocacy and Enhancing Public Perception – facilitating better representation and contribution of Muslims to civil society to combat Islamophobia and positively transform perceptions of British Muslims  
  • Community Service and Social Development – raising the aspirations and standards within British Muslim communities 

About University of Westminster

The Westminster story began in 1838, when Sir George Cayley opened the Polytechnic Institution at 309 Regent Street in London. In 1881, philanthropist Quintin Hogg bought the Royal Polytechnic Institution building and moved his Young Men’s Christian Institute into 309 Regent Street, which soon became the publicly funded Regent Street Polytechnic. Requirements for Aziz Foundation Postgraduate Scholarship Qualification

You must be a UK student and hold a September 2022 course offer for a full time or part-time Masters course at the University of Westminster.

You must be active within a Muslim community and demonstrate intimate knowledge of issues affecting British Muslim communities.

You must be able to demonstrate a long-term commitment to community/societal development within Britain.

Interview date, Process and Venue for Aziz Foundation Postgraduate Scholarship

All students must be Muslim and from a Black, Asian and minority ethnic background.
