Aim and Benefits of Universita' Degli Studi G. D'Annunzio Di Chieti - Pescara Master's Scholarship
- The scholarships made available under this call for applications provide for:
- A financial contribution of € 6,000.00 - gross amount - (before institutional charges), to the winning students;
- Full exemption from University fees, with the exeption of the tuition fee (regional fee - €140.00 and stamp duty - €16.00)
- Additional support services include:
- reception, orientation, integration into the University and social context of reference at the responsible offices for student mobility;
- assisted procedures for access to the University online system (MYPAGE Ud’A);
- personalised reception and psychological support services and teaching materials for students with disabilities or specific learning difficulties;
- Italian language course.
- These scholarships are incompatible with grants awarded by other public or private institutions, including regional scholarships (ADSU Chieti-Pescara), scholarships for beneficiaries of international protection promoted by the Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MAECI), CRUI, foreign governments or institutions. Should the above occur the scholarship will be revoked.
- Scholarships are awarded within the limits of the financial resources allocated in the University budget.

Requirements for Universita' Degli Studi G. D'Annunzio Di Chieti - Pescara Master's Scholarship Qualification
The requirements for submitting applications for admission are as follows:
- Access to First-Cycle Degree (Bachelor’s Degree)
- applicants must hold a qualification obtained after at least 12 years of schooling. In the case of applicants from countries where the local education system is 11 or 10 years:certification of university attendance in the country of origin and successful completion of all first-year exams (11-year system) or first two-year exams (10-year system) or
- a post-secondary qualification obtained from a non-university higher education institution in a related field (1 year for 11-year systems; 2 years for 10-year systems) or
- certification issued by an Italian university attesting completion of a foundation course covering the missing years of schooling;
- Access to Second-Cycle Degree (Master’s Degree)
- Applicants must hold:
- a foreign academic qualification granting access to Master’s Degree programmes; or
- a foreign post-secondary qualification that allows progression to the next academic level in the issuing country.
Interview date, Process and Venue for Universita' Degli Studi G. D'Annunzio Di Chieti - Pescara Master's Scholarship
- The Welcome Office is responsible for evaluating the admission requirements referred to in Article 4 and Article 6 of this Notice. 1. Applications will be evaluated by a special University Committee appointed by Rector's Decree.
- Applications will be assessed exclusively on the basis of qualifications.
- The Selection Committee has a total of 100 points, allocated as follows: 60 points for academic qualifications and 40 points for the assessment of the CV and cover letter.
- At the end of the evaluation, a final ranking will be drawn up. In the event of a tie, preference will be given to the younger candidate; if the tie persists, preference will be given to female candidates.
- Information regarding the results of the selection process and the awarding of scholarships will be published on the University portal on the page dedicated to this Call for applications.
- All candidates will receive personal notification of the selection results.
- Successful candidates must enrol by the deadlines set out in the study programme for the academic year 2026/27. Only once enrolment is completed, winners will be able to receive the first instalment of the scholarship. Failure to enrol by the deadlines will result in forfeiture of scholarship status.
PLEASE NOTE that
The enrolment procedure for second-level courses will require further verification of both documentation and additional requirements (e.g. curricular requirements) by a special committee appointed by the course of study.
Even if successful in this selection process, candidates interested in enrolling in a Master's Degree Programme may not be considered eligible for enrolment by the Programme's evaluation committee because they do not meet the curricular requirements set out in the Programme's Teaching Regulations. In this case, candidates will not be able to complete their enrolment and, therefore, receive the scholarship.
Documents Required for Application
Applicants must upload:
- Valid passport/ID copy;
- Curriculum Vitae;
- Motivation letter (in English);
- Degree programme selection form (Annex 2);
- English language certification (B2 level) for programmes taught in English.
- A copy of the academic qualification and/or documentation certifying the studies completed for the purpose of obtaining the qualification (Upper Secondary School Diploma or First-Level Degree) required for admission to an open-access Bachelor’s Degree Programme (three-year programme) or Master’s Degree Programme (two-year programme) of the University, issued by the Institution at which the qualification was awarded.
- Official transcript of records certifying the university examinations passed, including the corresponding grades.
*Clarifications
Documents referred to in points f) and g), if issued in a language other than Italian, must be accompanied by an official sworn translation into Italian. Such documents must be legalized by the competent Italian Diplomatic Representation (or bear the Apostille stamp), or alternatively be accompanied by a Statement of Verification issued by CIMEA.
In addition, applicants are required to submit a Declaration of Value issued by the Italian Diplomatic Representation in the country where the qualification was obtained, or a Statement of Comparability/Correspondence issued by an ENIC-NARIC centre. - The system will send the candidate an email containing the username and password required to log in and register for this call for applications.
- After logging in, candidates must select from the “Registar’s office” menu “Evalution test” → “Registration for the assessment test - call for applications - 15 scholarships for international students - 2026/27 a.y.” and then follow the instructions provided by the system.
