The Futures Aspire Scholarship is aimed at supporting new talented students from disadvantaged or low-income backgrounds.

Canterbury Christ Church University (CCCU) Undergraduate Scholarship

Aim and Benefits of Canterbury Christ Church University (CCCU) Undergraduate Scholarship

• £5,000 a year for each year of your study, alongside the opportunity to be supported by a Futures Coach to develop your confidence during your time at CCCU.

Scholarship payments will be made in three instalments throughout the academic year:

• 25% in November
• 25% in February and
• 50% in May.

Requirements for Canterbury Christ Church University (CCCU) Undergraduate Scholarship Qualification

You can apply for the scholarship if you have applied or hold a current offer for a full-time 3-year undergraduate degree at CCCU. You must:

• be a Home fee-paying student
• have a low household income below £45,000 or qualified for free school meals
• be from a background which may be a barrier to progressing into higher education (for example you are care experienced or estranged, are living with a disability, have caring responsibilities or come from an ethnic minority background)
• be open to providing case studies for marketing purposes and attend the Futures Annual Supporter Event each year during your studies, and other events as required.

How to Apply

• You will be required to fill out the Aspire Scholarship application form, which includes a 500-word personal statement.

The award is the largest offered at CCCU and has been established thanks to the generosity of our alumni and wider community.
