It is offered in partnership with the British Council and the GREAT Britain Campaign.

Requirements for GREAT Scholarships 2027 – USA Postgraduate Scholarship Qualification
To get this scholarship you must:
- have an offer to study a 1-year in person postgraduate taught course within the Faculty of Arts and Humanities at the University of Southampton
- have a USA passport
- be a permanent resident of the USA
- meet your programme offer conditions by the 30 June 2027
- be willing to act as an ambassador for UK Higher Education by promoting the value of studying at a UK University and be a scholarship advocate
- be willing to demonstrate future contribution to capacity-building and socio-economic advancement through the benefits achieved after graduation
Application Deadline

To apply for this scholarship:
- Apply to study for an eligible postgraduate master's course at the University of Southampton
- Complete the scholarship application form by 30 April 2027, 5pm (UK time)
