Requirements for Erasmus Mundus ILSPSD Scholarship Master's Scholarship Qualification

  • Hold a completed undergraduate degree from a fully accredited higher education institution
  • Have a minimum of 180 ECTS or equivalent
  • Have a degree that provides access to Master’s-level studies in the country where it was awarded
  • Meet the academic requirements of the selected study track
  • Meet the English-language requirements
  • Submit all required documents before the deadline

Selection Timetable

1 October 2026 Online application form becomes available
4 January 2027 Deadline for scholarship applications
February/March 2027 Interviews with shortlisted candidates (tbc)
March/April 2027 Preliminary notification of results
31 March 2027 Deadline for self-funded applications
April 2027 Submitting the selected scholarship candidates’ data to the European Union
April/May Final results sent to the applicants (acceptances and rejections)
31 May Deposit of 500.00 € to be paid by the self-funded students
June Possible late admission of self-funded students

Documents Required for Application

Applicants should prepare:

  • University entrance qualification/school leaving certificate
  • Bachelor’s degree certificate
  • Academic transcripts
  • Personal statement
  • Two reference letters
  • CV/resume
  • English language proof
  • French language proof if required for the Brussels track
  • Additional academic documents, where applicable

  1. Choose the study track that best fits your academic background and interests. (Go to programme structure)
  2. Please check the study track additional entry requirements before applying. (See entry requirements)
  3. Please select your 1st, 2nd, and 3rd track preference. If you are only eligible for one study track, please select it twice.
