The Laidlaw Scholarships are intended to encourage extraordinary women with clear leadership potential to enrol onto the Oxford MBA programme when they would not have previously considered the qualification due to financial constraints.
Recipients are extraordinary individuals who have a passion for gender equality and have demonstrated their commitment to leading change in their sector.
Scholars have the opportunity to benefit from a range of on-course activities and priority access to events both at the School and at Reuben College. They also benefit from joining a unique community and network. Read more about the scholar community.
Through additional support from the Laidlaw Foundation and in partnership with the Saïd Business School Foundation, we can offer up to 10 scholarships for the 2025-26 class.
As the oldest university in the English-speaking world, Oxford is a unique and historic institution. There is no clear date of foundation, but teaching existed at Oxford in some form in 1096 and developed rapidly from 1167, when Henry II banned English students from attending the University of Paris.
