Third cycle
You must meet the following conditions by the deadline for submitting the application form, i.e. November 27, 2024 :
Be a CPA, member in good standing of the Order;
However, applications submitted by a CPA who is not a member in good standing of the Order or who is the subject of an investigation by the Office of the Syndic cannot be accepted.
Pursue doctoral studies in the following areas of expertise: certification, financial accounting, elements of sustainable development and information technologies related to the field of accounting, finance, taxation, management and management accounting;
Undertake to mention the contribution of the Foundation in any publication that may result from doctoral studies and research work;
Complete the scholarship application form and submit the application file to the Foundation before the application deadline (the elements constituting the application file can be submitted in English).
Notes
A CPA may apply multiple times to the Doctoral Scholarship Program and receive up to three scholarships or $30,000 for the same doctorate. Scholarship holders from previous years are therefore eligible if their doctoral studies have not yet been completed and the above eligibility requirements are met.
The Foundation does not impose any restrictions on the choice of place of study. All members of the Order, including those working outside Quebec, may submit their application.
Failure to comply with the requirements automatically voids the application.
Applications are evaluated according to the following criteria:
Excellence of the academic record
Interest, skills and potential for teaching and university research, taking into account the candidate's career path, with repercussions in Quebec
The quality and interest of the research project
