14. SWANSEA UNIVERSITY

As a requirement, students are expected to demonstrate their understanding of English to a certain level. Most departments in the university require an IELTS 6.5 for post graduate degrees but there are other exceptions. An important note, your English proficiency is one the requirements to get a Tier 4 (General) student visa so if you find a university that waives off the IELTS test, you must ask them to hand you a document that you are eligible to take a visa.
