• The successful applicants of University of Technology Sydney (UTS) - International Research Scholarships in Australia, 2021 will receive tuition fee which depends on each course upto 3 years.

Requirements for University of Technology Sydney (UTS) PhD Scholarship Qualification

• The scholarship is open to an overseas student.
• Applicants of UTS International Research Scholarship must purchase and maintain a standard OSHC policy approved by the Commonwealth Government Department of Health and Ageing.
• The candidate must be commencing full-time enrolment in a Higher Degree by Research (HDR) at UTS.
• Applicants must be taking up study in a subject identified by the University as one of its areas of research concentration.
• The applicant must not hold a research qualification equivalent to an Australian research doctorate.
• Must not have held an Australian Agency for International Development scholarship within the two years before commencing the UTS IRS.
• Candidates should not be receiving a scholarship for which course tuition is a component under any other scholarship scheme to which the Australian Government makes a substantial contribution.
• Applicants of UTS International Research Scholarship must not have previously have received a UTS IRS for a research doctorate programme.

If you wish to be considered for an IRS and all associated scholarships, tick the YES box in the SCHOLARSHIP/SPONSORSHIP INFORMATION section of your course application. Please refer to How to Apply and UTS International Research Scholarships in the Research Scholarships section of the UTS Research Degrees website for more information.

Applicants must submit their completed application, by the relevant application deadline. Incomplete and late applications will not be considered.
