The College recognizes its responsibility in bringing a clinical view and a patient voice to medical innovation, toward the goal of improved patient care.
This alignment with our Mission "to improve heart health," prompted the Board of Trustees to form an innovation group overseen by senior leaders.
Drs. James Januzzi, Mike Mack, Fred Masoudi, Roxana Mehran and I comprise the Innovation Development Work Group and are responsible for overseeing this work, which is led by an exceptionally gifted team.
It is our goal to search for, aid and promote the development of technologies that will enable our members to advance the care of their patients.
This engagement of the clinical and research community with private enterprise is one of the ways that the College is working to provide useful tools and member value.
